Race Ready is your local shop for mountain bike tuning and repair! Based in Richmond, VT, our main focus is on servicing and tuning suspension. We are a well-rounded shop that enjoys making bikes fast and fun, so typical mechanic work is also part of our offerings. Race Ready isn’t just a business name, it is our goal, even if you’re just racing the sunset on an evening ride!
We schedule our suspension and bike repair service through the Contact and Hours tab at the top of the page, which is where you you can also find our Service Menu and FAQ. If you are in need of a quick fix, give us a call – we welcome drop-ins during the summer, but service availability may vary through out the day due to the pre-scheduled workload, so on-the-spot help may not always be available.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the service process work regarding pick up and drop off?
Once your spot in line for service is confirmed via email, call, or text, your equipment can be dropped off in person ahead of your scheduled appointment. If you have difficulty getting away from work or home, we will be making pick-up and drop-off available for a nominal fee (this will be limited to a 10-mile radius from the shop typically, but again, we will try to work with you if you are in a pinch).
Always feel free to call/text/email with any inquiries about open service slots or please-my-bike-just-quit-and-I’m-riding-with-my-friends-tomorrow (or racing!) “emergencies”.
Do I need to be a huge nerd like you to benefit from Race Ready’s services?
Not at all! Bike maintenance, service, and repair is for everyone!
Can I mail you my suspension?
If you would like to mail over your suspension, that works too! Return shipping costs will be calculated and added to the invoice. If you include a prepaid shipping label for the return, we will waive the shipping and handling fee, as the UPS/FedEx dudes pick up from us! We wish we could offer free shipping, but at this time, that is unfortunately out of reach.
Do you offer pick-up from or drop-off to my place of work or residence?
We understand that it can be difficult to get away from work or out of the house for an errand like running to the bike shop. That is why we offer pick-up options for our customers. If you live in Richmond, the service is free! For Huntington, Hinesburg, Essex, Jericho, or Williston there is a nominal $20 fee. If you live further afield and find yourself struggling to make it to us, but would really like to have us do the work, please still reach out and we will do our best to accommodate a pick-up solution for you! Destination drops-offs are not a regular offering, but if you are hoping to or need to have your equipment returned to you, we will do our best to work with you on a solution!
